So what's been going on?

Today is mainly a relaxing day where I spend most of my time on the computer, asleep, playing video games, etc.

I just found something.

I just found four dollar coins on my computer desk. I think they're from a basketball game on Friday. I tape the all basketball games that my school plays in with my peepsies Drew and Ryan. I'm pretty sure I used a five-dollar bill in a vending machine and it gave me these back.

Three of them are Sacajawea golden dollars. On the front it has Sacajawea with her little baby in her little papoose. On the back there's an eagle flying. He/she has really big wings.

The other one is from 1979. It has a woman with a rather aquiline nose (vocab word of the day, kids). I'm pretty sure it's Susan B. Anthony.

On the back there's a drawing of an eagle laying an olive branch on what I assume is the moon because there's lots of craters. In the background you can see the earth. I'm kind of confused by this though because the moon landing was ten years before 1979. It doesn't really make sense to do that, imo.

I would take a picture of it but my phone is having trouble sending pictures. So here's the head of the coin:



I'll probably keep the Anthony one and spend the others. Who knows, it might be worth something one day.

Why do I have to have a title for this stupid thing?

I did not go to church today because the car door on my side wouldn't shut :-( We have two cars, a new beige minivan and an ancient magenta sedan. We got the sedan from my grandpa who passed away a few years ago. There's always something that seems to be wrong with it. I think we've had the engine replaced a couple of times.

I think I'm going to go to the library later today. I need to do some research on an essay paper for English. Plus I want to check out some travel books on Europe. My dad -- he's a law professor -- is trying to get a conference together in London during the summer, and I'm really hoping it goes through. I've just become interested in traveling, and I'd reaaaaaaaaaaaaally like to go to a different country. Great Britain sounds cool, and we might be going to Paris and Rome if we can find time before or after the conference. But I'm most interested in Scandinavia. Anyways, I'll probably check outs some books on London and Paris and Rome and see what there is to do there. If the conference goes through I'll probably try to study a little French and Italian too. (I study French 2 in school. Everyone says I'm the best in the class, which is a pitiful indicator of the intellects of everyone else. It's not one of my better subjects. I can usually understand basic convos, especially in writing, though.)

My third really quick post

Just thought I'd share this with you.

I like taking pictures, especially with my new T-Mobile (™ or no ™?) phone. Got it for Christmas. (No, I am not bragging, Drew!)

FYI, the dog is licking (trying to lick?) some part of my body (maybe my head or hand).
