WILL THE HOTBED OF SCAMMERS IN MY HOMETOWN NEVER CEASE???
I guess not.
Today I was hanging out at Barnes & Noble (as I am wont to do), and I heard "Talk," by Coldplay. I liked it a lot, but I haven't bought it nor the album yet. I'm still a little leery about buying anything from a band whose name reminds me of Cold Stone Creamery (the best ice cream ever, btw).
Anyways, my dad and I are about to pull out of the parking lot when this guy comes walking up to us. He looks to be in his 40s, brown hair, mustache (Ryan, he looked a lot like your dad
). He said he was from [small town in our state with about 14,000 people], and that he had ran out of gas trying to get home. My dad said "Sorry" and drove away. He said that he had seen the guy in the bookstore before and "he sure wasn't looking for gas" (ha ha!). And after last time especially. . .
It's so hard to trust people anymore. How do you tell the difference between a single mom who has a screaming baby in the backseat and a scammer with a flour bag wrapped in a blanket?
In other n00z, my blog shows up on SproutWorks!!!! I've never heard of it either. Apparently, it is
I show up under the search terms "starbucks", "i love lucy", "yucatán" (but not "yucatan"), and "peninsula". YAY IM FAMUZ.
Google, however, has still scorned me.

an index of blogs that frequently updates itself. How 'bout that?
