Oh yes. One other thing.
The trip to Europe got cancelled this summer :(
Every cloud has a silver lining, of course. Since the trip revolved around this conference my dad was organizing, and there was a definite lack of interest, it got moved to next summer so people can make plans far in advance. My dad's also going to attend another conference in Austria (AUSTRIA! YAY!!!!!!111111) a few weeks after that in Salzburg, which looks like a beautiful city.
While we're there, I also want to see Vienna (duh) and the Salzkammergut (the lake region), because they're supposed to be the highlights of the country. Plus the peeps in Amazing Race 4 went there. There are are also supposed to be the largest ice caves in the world (Eisriesenwelt) in Werfen, south of Salzburg.

Needless to say, I'm already learning German.
I just wish it could be sooner :(
